Our clubhouse facilities can be enjoyed for a variety of purposes from club events to corporate entertaining to private functions.

Location

Currie Chieftains home is situated to the south west of the City of Edinburgh in the historic and picturesque village of Balerno.
The club is at the junction of the Bavelaw Burn and the beautiful the Water of Leith and is surrounded by mature parkland. Car parking is located adjacent to the clubhouse and playing pitches.

Our Facilities

Within our clubhouse we have four rooms available for functions:-

The Main Hall

Fully licensed bar with a special Gin section alongside the traditional Scottish Malts and other spirits. Our new specially brewed Currie Chieftains Scottish Cider and Golden Ale are now on offer for that post match pint alongside the usual favourites! The hall can seat up to 90 for a Lunch or a Dinner and up to 110 for evening functions.

The Malleny Lounge

Magnificent panoramic views over Malleny Park, its own serviced bar with draught beers, wines and spirits selection. Seats up to 50 people for a buffet style meal and up to 70 for evening functions. The upstairs lounge has its own exclusive entrance from the rest of the clubhouse ensuring privacy. The lounge has its own entrance and kitchen and toilet facilities.

The Rogerson Suite

Seats up to 22 people for a meal. Can also serve as an ideal room for smaller meetings with a pleasant outlook onto Malleny Park.

The Committee Room

Can be set up for a buffet layout for use by guests using the Main Hall or as a small meeting room for up to 12 people.

Club Services Offered

The Club can offer professional caterers who can provide quality fresh food and excellent catering whether for a simple finger buffet or a four course meal.
We are able to offer a selection of fine wines to suit all budgets.
Audio visual equipment is available on request.
