It is with great sadness that I have to inform members of the sudden passing of Ally Donaldson 

Ally was a huge part of  Currie Chieftains, he was part of the fabric of the club, first as a player and later as a coach. His contribution went far beyond what happened on the pitch. He was someone who gave his time, energy and friendship freely, and was a valued and much-loved member of our club family.
His sudden passing will be a tremendous shock to everyone who knew him, and our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with his family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

We will remember Ally with great affection and gratitude for everything he gave to our club. He will be sadly missed, but his contribution and the memories he created will remain part of the club for many years to come.
