Saturday 10th January Currie Chieftains v Melrose

Unfortunately the weather gods are not cooperating and once again our first January fixture is being disrupted with all Malleny pitches being unplayable.

However...., after some phoning around we have managed to secure the Oriam at Heriot Watt University and the game is now being played there at 6pm doors will open at 5.15pm ,we will operate the entry as if at Malleny.

The frozen pitches have resulted in the 2XV fixture against Edinburgh Accies and the Shrees game against Leith also being postponed.

On Saturday we will be showing the Clermont Auvergne v Glasgow Warriors at 3pm in the clubhouse and for those not wanting to sit in the cold at the Oriam we will also be screening the match in the warm clubhouse.

Food will be available at the club from 5.00pm to 7.30pm Vhairi will be serving Homemade Steakpie, Chips and Peas for a bargain price of £8.50 per person, pre booking would be preferred for food to clubhousemanager@curriechieftains.org

The clubhouse will be open on Saturday 10th January from midday to 10.00pm
