Currie Chieftains are delighted to announce the appointment of our new Club Development Officer, Adam Crozier, following a highly competitive recruitment process.

The Club Director of Rugby Andy Jones said “The strength and quality of applicants made this an incredibly tough decision, but we’re confident in Adam we’ve found the right person to help drive the club forward both on and off the pitch. The recruitment of Adam shows the clubs continued investment in the future of the club. We look forward to seeing the positive impact he will bring in the months ahead”. Adam joins us from

a Community Coaching role at Preston Lodge, whilst some members may recognise Adam who previously assisted James McCaig with youth coaching at Chieftains.

Adam said” I’m honoured to have been offered this role and am excited to get started. I look forward to bringing my own experience alongside that of the club coaches to deliver the best possible rugby experience to young players at Chieftains. Having begun coaching at a young age and spending the last 4 years studying Sports Coaching at Edinburgh Napier University, including a stint Down Under, I feel I have a lot to bring to the role, including prior experience of working within the girl’s section at Currie. I’m looking to build upon the great work done by previous DO’s and to keep pushing the clubs youth section to new levels.”
